Deborah Bell
Cameron County GOP Chairwoman
Deborah was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She is a wife, a mother and a strong advocate for Conservative values. An active member of the community, Deborah serves in her local church and is also a member of Junior League Brownsville. Deborah graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in English and worked as a public school teacher for numerous years.
Since her involvement in politics in 2019, Deborah has served as a state delegate in 2022 and 2024 for the Texas GOP State Convention, served as a Precinct Chair. become a certified volunteer deputy registrar in addition to a certified election poll watcher, been interviewed by Fox News, Fox Business, NewsNation, Fox & Friends, My Faith Votes, New York Times, and the Washington Post regarding the border crisis, volunteered with numerous campaigns, and most recently was elected as Chairwoman of the Cameron County Republican Party.

Meet Your Precinct Chairs
A Precinct Chair is the most important leadership role in the Cameron County Republican Party. Simply put, a Precinct Chair is the central manager for the smallest unit in the party. As the only elected official in the precinct, they have roles and responsibilities in, and to, the party. They also have a lot of fun and meet a lot of people! Precinct Chairs are boots on the ground that have day to day interaction with the voters in their area.
